Providero Coffeehouse

Providero has been a fixture of Llandudno's independent food and drink scene since 2014, and its reputation has only grown since. The coffeehouse at 112 Mostyn Street serves locally roasted Heartland coffee — roasted just down the road — and the team's genuine passion for using it well shows in every cup. The flat whites and lattes are consistently praised as the best coffee in Llandudno, and the café was named in the first ever Indy Coffee Guide Wales as one of the country's top speciality coffee destinations.

The food menu is light and thoughtfully put together: seasonal granola, eggs on toast, toasties, bagels, pastries and a range of cakes that change regularly. Vegan and gluten-free options are well represented throughout, and the kitchen uses good-quality ingredients rather than convenience shortcuts. The menu also features some inventive items — tofu scramble, montaditos, hasselback potatoes — that give it a broader appeal than a standard breakfast spot.

The space itself is a pleasure to spend time in — bright and unhurried, with a gallery of local artwork, a book swap, a retail area selling locally sourced products and brewing equipment, and a downstairs snug for quieter visits. There is also a bike shop partnership offering hire and repairs, making it a natural base for guests planning a cycling morning.
