Housed above a working chocolate factory on John Street, the Llandudno Chocolate Experience takes visitors through 5,000 years of chocolate history using recreated themed spaces — a Mayan hut, Aztec temple, pirate ship and Victorian Memory Lane street among them. Chocolate samples are included as you move through, which does not hurt.
It is a strong rainy-day option and an excellent choice for families, with enough genuine detail to hold adult interest too. Admission is around £6.50 for adults and £4.50 for children. Note that the museum operates seasonally and has been known to close for winter renovations — always check the official site before visiting to confirm opening dates and times.
